Marisa Petroro born on February 11th, 1972 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, USA is a magnificent American model-turned actress. Marisa began performing in beauty pageants at an early age of four. Four years later, in 1980 she was learning her first steps in acting at the most prestigious HB Studio.

Marisa who was afflicted with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer that affects muscles in childhood has survived the dreaded disease fighting valiantly and grew up to be a beautiful teenager worthy of participating in beauty pageants. She was crowned Miss Italia America in 1996 and went on to climb to the top 5 in the 1996 Miss Italia World beauty pageant.

A cum laude graduate with a degree in Marketing from Kean University in New Jersey, Marisa Petroro has appeared in a nationally televised commercial of Clear Blue Easy pregnancy test in 1997 directed by David Lynch. She has since appeared in several modeling assignments such as Lilt Perms hair product and so on.
